Żabka postpones its debut on Warsaw Stock Exchange again.
Żabka Polska, the operator of the Żabka c-store chain, will not debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) in October, as previously planned. The company did not issue its prospectus in the required time. Company officials say the postponement has resulted from an assessment of both the internal and external situations. The prospectus will have to be prepared in accordance with the new European Union requirements, as the company will probably debut on the floor at the end of 2005 or the beginning of 2006.
Żabka owns approximately 1,500 c-store outlets. The money raised from WSE (GPW) will be used for the development of the chain. Żabka wants to open 20-25 stores per month.
